今回は、村上春樹の『1Q84』の名言を8個あつめました。
2つある月、リトルピープルの暗躍、青豆の強くて脆いキャラクター、個人的に僕がいちばん好きな村上春樹作品ですね。
文庫本全6巻の大長編ですが、正直、読み終わるのがつらかった。もっとこの物語の中にいたかった。
トルストイの『戦争と平和』を読んだときは、「早く終わらねーかな」と思ってしまった僕ですが、『1Q84』はちがう。
こんなに長いのに、読者を飽きさせない作品が他にあるだろうか？（せーの、「いや、ない」）

But the moon remained silent; it told no stories. All it did was embrace the heavy past with cool, measured detachment.

“The ones who did it can always rationalize their actions and even forget what they did. They can turn away from things they don’t want to see.
But the surviving victims can never forget. They can’t turn away. Their memories are passed on from parent to child.
That’s what the world is, after all: an endless battle of contrasting memories.
